Assignment 4 : URBANITY

Our venue for the coming merdeka celebration is in Penang times square which is located in the middle of the city.
So, we went to penang times square. As usual, we did a lot of candid photo graphy besides doing our work. We realli enjoy the moment.
Thanks a lot to our driver.
Apparently, Penang times square is still a new building where the phase 2 is still under construction. The whole project named Times Square, and the commercial area behind the complex is the podium. Futher more, there is a residential condominium which is located on top of the PTS building.

Assignment 3C : B-FLY

After the blackbox ,we are goin to do something which so muc related to it.
As the national day is juz around the corner, the youth organization had organize an activity to be hold on 30th of august 2010. My very first celebration of MERDEKA in penang. HOwever, the activity which is known as the " YOUTH JAM 10 " will take place at times square, penang, not usm.
so we were being issued to make a so called balloon-releaser which can carry 6 standard size balloon and to be release one by one at once.
sounds interesting right.
so, after a brainstorm session, finally, i had made up my mind.

CONVO SKETCH

We have to sketch any of the graduate's photo during the convocation week using the
RULE OF THIRD and determine its golden section.

Rule of third is a compositional rule of thumb in visual arts such as painting, photography and design. The rule states that an image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally-spaced horizontal lines and two equally-spaced vertical lines, and that important compositional elements should be placed along these lines or their intersections.

Assignment 3B : MY BLACK BOX

It was another brain storming session in RUS 101.
i have insufficient information about the black box and i decided to use my own creativity and ideas to represent my black box.

What are the things that i will bring during the emergencies. This is the main idea of mine. The black box is to bring into our own design casket that we did in the previous project. So i guess i will put some importand stuff inside my black box.

They are
- a packet of hazel nut chipsmore.
- my handphone, definitely.
- my identification card.
- my 96 diamond bracelet which meants a lot to me.
- a pencil

All of the aforementioned stuff will be place into my own design black box.

After collecting all the ideas, i started my sketches.

Assignment 3A : Casket4Me

CASKET ????!!!!!!!!!!
casket = coffin ??? for me...??
Alamak.. wat the hell is this, we were being issued to design a casket for ourself.
sounds irritating right.
however, a rule is to follow, an order is to obey, especially encik wan's order.
so.. i started to think n think n imagine.
Finally, the design of my casket was ready.




The idea was actually aroused from bamboos. ( ish, bamboo again ! )
i sketched my coffin green in colour to represent bamboo.
den it will be completed with the latest technology as there is 4 switches on the wheels.
a ribbon as a decoration out there.
last but not least, when it were made out from bamboo, it will definitely float on the sea... till it's nowhere to be seen.

HUMAN DIMENSION

To draw a scaling work without eraser was indeed a tough job for me.
we were being issued to draw the human dimension in different scales.

The lecturers teach us to draw the basic lines for drawing human dimension.
Its realli susah to draw line without any drawing tools on an A3 size paper.
it goes up n down, bengkok all the way.
however, i managed to finish my work.

The moment when i got this assignment,
i was quite excited bt at the same time i was confused about how to do it..
but due to the sikap hantam saja..
i memang hantam saja..
according to the limited knowledge that i have in my god-given brain, i started to draw n draw n draw...
till the very last minute, i m still drawing... touch up+ing.
After burning the midnight oil..
a struggling midnight indeed,
finally, my dot n lines are ready to pass up and blogging.

THIS IS THE RESULT OF MY HARD WORK, is totally to my satisfaction.
However, i hope i can perform better in my next assignment. ^^
